It’s hard to believe how quickly the time has passed, and as we reflect on the journey that brought us here, we are filled with gratitude, pride, and excitement for what the future holds.

Six years ago, Rivertowns Pediatrics was just a vision—one that started with the simple yet powerful idea of creating a pediatric practice where every child and family feels truly seen, heard, and cared for. Dr. Nitin Gupta, inspired by his own experiences as a father, wanted to build a practice that didn’t just treat illnesses but fostered strong relationships with families and focused on the whole well-being of each child.

With a background that includes training at some of the most prestigious institutions, Dr. Gupta brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to Rivertowns Pediatrics. However, it was his personal journey as a parent that shaped his approach to care. He understood the anxieties and challenges parents face and wanted to create a space where those concerns could be addressed with empathy and expertise.

Dr. Mindy Gallagher joined Rivertowns Pediatrics two years ago, bringing with her a dedication to personalized, family-centered care that aligns perfectly with the values Dr. Gupta established when founding the practice six years ago. Together, they have worked closely to grow Rivertowns Pediatrics into the thriving practice it is today. Their collaborative approach has been instrumental in creating an environment where every child is cared for with the utmost attention and respect.

Starting small, we opened our doors with a handful of patients and a heart full of hope. Our mission was clear: to provide compassionate, personalized care that goes beyond the exam room. We aimed to create a community where parents could turn for guidance, support, and reassurance at every stage of their child’s development.

From those early days, we’ve grown—thanks to the trust and loyalty of our wonderful families. Under the dedicated care of Dr. Gupta and Dr. Gallagher, we’ve expanded our team, added new services, and continually updated our practices to meet the evolving needs of our patients. But through all this growth, one thing has remained constant: our commitment to treating every child like they’re part of our own family.

Supporting our doctors and ensuring that everything runs smoothly is Jenna Branch, our Office Manager, who joined us in April 2023. Jenna comes to us with a strong background in retail pharmacy, where she successfully managed a local independent pharmacy. Her experience has been invaluable, especially when it comes to obtaining prior authorizations for medications and tests that our patients need. Jenna’s management skills and her ability to anticipate the needs of our patients, physicians, and the community have made her a vital part of our team.

Jenna, a native of Yonkers, has quickly become an integral member of the Rivertowns Pediatrics family. Her warm, approachable nature and keen organizational skills ensure that our practice continues to operate efficiently, allowing our doctors to focus on what they do best—caring for your children. When she’s not at the office, Jenna enjoys exploring the local restaurant scene with her husband or dancing at underground hip hop concerts.

This year, we were thrilled to welcome Dr. Sonia Patel to our team. Dr. Patel brings a fresh perspective and a passion for pediatric care that aligns perfectly with the values we hold dear at Rivertowns Pediatrics. Her addition to the team has allowed us to continue offering the high level of care our patients expect while also expanding our ability to serve more families in our community.

Dr. Gupta’s philosophy has always been to make healthcare accessible and supportive, ensuring that every parent feels equipped to make the best decisions for their child’s health. He believes in empowering parents through education and open communication, helping them navigate the complexities of raising healthy, happy children.
